New York City's Lincoln Center was the location of last night's third annual 'Black Girls Rock Awards' ceremony. Among the award recipients and attendees were Erykah Badu and Keyshia Cole.

Cole, who won the 'Soul Sister' award, was not able to attend due to a delayed flight. The 'Rock Star' award was presented to Badu, who stepped on stage decked in a black and white top hat, stiletto heels, and a huge baby bump. She thanked her fans and Sylvia Rhone, president of her label, Universal Motown Records, but made no mention of her pregnancy.

Other musicians, such as Ryan Leslie and Teyana Taylor were also in attendance. The two presented the 'Who Got Next Award' to London-based singer Estelle.

Black Girls Rock is a non-profit organization designed to mentor and empower young women of color through the arts. The organization was started by DJ Beverly Bond, a former model who has expanded her career to music and toured with Badu, Musiq and The Roots. Bond has also produced hits for stars like songstress Alicia Keys.
