When Keyshia Cole and her husband Daniel "Booby" Gibson split last year, the singer was more vocal about their trials and tribulations in her music rather than speaking on the matter in a public forum. Now Cole is airing out her ex-man's shady behavior on Instagram.

Gibson, a former Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player, apparently invited Cole to the set of a music video he was shooting -- he's now a rapper. While at the location, the Point of No Return creator found out he was trying to "mess with" another woman who was playing the love interest in the video.

The singer got a hold of the text conversation and took a photo of it, which she shared on her Instagram account for more than 1.5 million followers to see.

"I guess the starting over as 'Friends' thing doesn't work. how could u invite me to a video shoot but, your trying to mess with the 'Love interest' while your 'Wife' #IsThere! #BasketBallPlayerTurnedRapper #KindOfS---TheyDo #PointOfInvite? #ThankGodIWasSmartAboutIt #ManUp #WhenUSayUWannaSaveUrFam #ButUReallyDont #WhatWouldUHaveDone? #Bogus #TheChickSaidAllMenCheat #IDontBelieveThat #NoHate #Facts #EnoughOfNoLove," Cole wrote.

A look at the image shows a blurred out number presumably belonging to Gibson. The texts reveal a very personal conversation directed at the woman known as the "love interest." "Just give me a small chance. It's an energy in you I like. Just keep it tight for me," he writes. "I need you around. Keysh just Tryna intimidate you."

For a man who wants to save his family, according to Cole, this surely isn't the way to do it. Infidelity rumors have circulated regarding why the two initially parted ways as a result of the "Party Ain't a Party" chanteuse sharing her feelings on social media. In the past, Cole has addressed that she vented on places like Instagram and Twitter, but realizes that she needs to cool down at times. “Well, I have feelings,” she said in an interview with The Breakfast Club. “Sometimes I need to put my phone down, you know. I need to chill out because I really don’t want to go into it, but I be chillin’. I’m chillin’.”
