Last year, legendary funkateer George Clinton contributed to Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy-winning album, To Pimp a Butterfly. So K.Dot returned the favor and appeared on Funkadelic’s remix of “Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard on You?” from their three-disc project, First Ya Gotta Shake the Gate. Now, we get yet another funkier version this time featuring Ice Cube.

The “We Ain’t Neva Gonna Stop Remix” is dipped in some serious funky grooves that should remind listeners of Dr. Dre’s G-Funk sounds on The Chronic and Cube's "You Know How We Do It."

Cube delivers a funky flow as he reminds listeners that he still get respect on the L.A. streets.

“It’s that self-made Kool-Aid, look what red and blue made / Turned O’Shea to N.W.A,” he raps, referring to his son, O'Shea Jackson Jr., starring in Straight Outta Compton.

"Playboy I ain't nothin' to play with / I'm dangerous when it come to spitting this language," he later adds, "All the real hood is ready to bang this...I'm flesh and blood that's hard as stainless."

You might be familiar with Kendrick's verse as it's the same lines he rapped on "Untitled 2 (Blue Faces)" that he performed on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in January.

Overall, the song can't get any funkier with two West Coast rap legends on the remix. Sit back and enjoy the funky ride commandeer by Dr. Funkenstein himself.
