Kelly Rowland and The-Dream Bring Lights Out Tour to New York City
Kelly Rowland and The-Dream proved to be compatible tourmates for the Lights Out tour on Thursday night (May 30) at Best Buy Theater in New York City, with each singer showcasing a stellar performance and even joining each other onstage.
The former Destiny's Child star took the stage, singing through past hits from her girl group days like "Jumpin'" and "Cater 2 U."
Then she focused on new material from her upcoming fourth studio album, "Talk a Good Game," which is available June 18. She displayed her spirited vocals with "Dirty Laundry," "Gone" and "This Is Love," among others.
The-Dream also supported the songstress onstage for "Where Have You Been," a collaboration featured on his newly released opus, "IV Play."
For his solo performance, the Radio Killa treated the audience to old and new favorites. He delivered the title track off his LP, "IV Play," and offered rhythmic selections like 'Ditch That," 'Rockin' That S---" and "Dope Bitch."
The two R&B titans weren't the only ones to grab a mic during the evening's show. Singers August Alsina and Adrian Marcel also offered their vocals talents for the audience.
