The Kehlani tsunami is taking over. The 20-year-old Oakland native's new mixtape, You Should Be Here, has arrived.

Kehlani has been buzzing on the music scene since she dropped her debut tape, Cloud 19, in 2014. With the help of mentor Nick Cannon, she rode the wave to places like SXSW in Austin, Texas, putting on a killer set and showcasing her growth on tracks like “Act A Fool” and “How That Taste.”

Now the singer, who was once an America’s Got Talent contestant, is ready to take her sound to the next level on You Should Be Here. She premiered the slow burner “The Way” featuring Chicago rhymer Chance the Rapper on Monday (April 27). "You so damn important, everything you do shows me you know it / Behind it all you are the motive / Don't tell you enough but I show it," she sings. The sexy sound of Kehlani’s sweet serenade meets Chance’s sleepy drawl. In addition to the Chance, You Should Be Here also features appearances from BJ the Chicago Kid, Coucheron and Lexii Alijai.

The 14-track project finds her yearning for a lost lover on the title track, turning her back to no good men on "N----s" and preaching on the self-love anthem "Bright." Dive into Kehlani's You Should Be Here below.
