Kanye West’s ‘808s & Heartbreak’ Tracks Appear on the ‘Net

Two new Kanye West songs leaked from his upcoming '808s and Heartbreak' album. The first is a cover of Tears For Fears classic, 'Coldest Winter,' and it sounds a lot like you'd expect; the production is pretty interesting and the singing is...Kanye singing via vocoder. If that sounds like something you might like, well this record is for you. If you were hoping for rap music you might want to check out what he's doing with Common.

The other song from the album that leaked this weekend is 'Robocop,' which is even stranger, and quite possibly a joke. The chorus goes: "I don't wanna robocop/you movin like a robocop/when did you become a robocop/I really need you to stop."

In either event, check both songs here and decide for yourselves. We expect this album to be received by hip hop fans in the same way Common's 'Electric Circus' was, only much more commercially succesful. In other words, it'll be huge, even if it's not what we might be hoping for.
