Kanye West to Launch His Own Jewelry Collection

Now that he's finished running his victory lap around 50 Cent, Kanye West will launch his own line of jewelry. The 30-year-old rapper has teamed up with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, the same person responsible for West's 'Graduation' album cover art, to create a jewelry collection that West says "will be more accessible, they won't be all diamonds."

West previewed a piece from his forthcoming line by donning a gold, Manga-style diamond pendant at the Givenchy Spring/Summer fashion show in Paris last week. No release date for the collection has been set.
