Kanye West returned to the Bonnaroo Music Festival to make amends with the audience after his disastrous performance in 2008. The last time Yeezy played, he showed up four hours late, at 4:30AM in the morning, and blamed organizers as well as Pearl Jam for having a long set.

On Friday night (June 13), West's concert went on without a hitch. But the rapper-producer didn't forget about the backlash he received for his 2008 debacle at the fest.

During his set, West took a moment to aim his vitriol at the media. He called out, "Where the press at?" repeatedly. "F--- the press."

Yeezy then went into a long diatribe about the hard work he puts in to give his fans the best in everything that he does.

"I want y'all to know that anytime I'm in the studio, make a record, make a T-shirt, I give it everything I got,"he said (according to BuzzFeed). "And when I talk that s---, it's so you can talk that s---. If you're a fan of me, you're a fan of your motherf---in' self. You can go out and do anything."

He ended his rant with this statement: "I am the number one muthaf---in' rock star on the planet, at Bonnaroo!"

Much of the crowd's reactions to West's speech was divided with some people booing the G.O.O.D. Music leader while others were cheering him on.

One person who showed her support was West's wife Kim Kardashian. The married celebutante posted a few pictures on Instagram of herself enjoying the spectacle. "#YASSSSSS just rocked Bonnaroo," she wrote referring to her hubby.

"The fact that there are so many people here tonight, it humbles me,” said West after he performed 'Runaway.' "It humbles me in a way it gives me strength. I know I set my goals very high. What I promise you as I stand here tonight, 37 years old, this is only the beginning."

Stay humble, Kanye...stay humble.
