Oprah Winfrey is bringing out the big guns for her final season on network television and there's no one bigger in the pop music world right now than Kanye West. West was scheduled to appear on the fellow Chicagoan's popular daytime talk show to dish about his post-Taylor Swift journey back to the top during the past year, but it seems that 'Ye booked a bit too soon. He's apparently canceled the appearance with short notice, leaving Oprah incensed and insulted for putting her producers in a bind.

"All the arrangements had been made ... She was going to ask Kanye everything. Oprah is not happy," a source recently told In Touch Weekly.

Neither Kanye nor Oprah has responded to these claims yet. In Touch also reported that the cancellation was in the form of a short email from West's people to Oprah, which was interpreted as a deliberate lack of respect.

Oprah has been lukewarm to hip-hop throughout her career, often citing the genre's inherently violent content and frequent use of the n-word as morally bankrupt. That all changed with the appearance of Jay-Z last year. At that time, Oprah went to visit Hov's childhood home in Brooklyn's Marcy Projects and invited the rapper on her show. She even busted a few freestyle bars at the end in one of the more surreal daytime TV moments of 2009.
