Kanye West Pleads Not Guilty in Paparazzi Battery Case

Kanye West pleaded not guilty on Friday in a Los Angeles court to misdemeanor vandalism, battery and grand theft.

West and his road manager, Don "Don C" Crowley, were arrested in September 2008 at Los Angeles International airport when the pair struggled with a TMZ photographer attempting to snap a picture of the producer/rapper.

Ironically enough, video footage of the incident -- posted to the 'net courtesy of TMZ -- shows both West and Crowley wrestling a camera from a photographer.

West did not appear in court, but his lawyer, Blair Berk, entered the plea on his behalf. A hearing was scheduled for July 15.
