Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s First Child Is a Girl

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian will be loading up on the dresses and all things pink once their first child arrives. The high-profile couple are expecting a baby girl.

Kardashian revealed the news in the season premiere of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," which aired Sunday night (June 2) on E!

"I'm so excited we're having a girl," she exclaimed. "Who doesn't want a girl? I think they are the best. And I know that's really what Kanye has always wanted. He wanted a little girl."

Perhaps West and Kardashian will name their new addition after the rapper's mother, Donda, who passed away in 2007, due to complications from cosmetic surgery.

The unborn baby, which is due in July, was the guest of honor Sunday at the reality show star's baby shower, hosted by her mother and sisters.
