Kanye West has made it very clear that he is a friend of Donald Trump and wants to support the next president of the United States. However, the feeling may not be mutual on Trump's end. With all the buzz around who will perform at the inauguration one name was never mentioned... Kanye West.

In a recent interview Tom Barrack, chairman of the Presidential Inauguration Committee, told CNN that Kanye West wasn't asked to perform because it wasn't a "fitting" venue for him.

“He’s been great, he considers himself a friend of the president-elect, but it’s not the venue," Barrack said.

And just in case Tom wasn't clear when he first insulted Kanye West, he put the last nail in the coffin when he said, “It’s going to be typically and traditionally American, and Kanye is a great guy, we just haven’t asked him to perform."

T.I. may have been right when he said there is a strategic plan to get fans of the hip-hop community to fall in line with Trump's agenda. Kanye was American enough to publicly support Trump during the elections but now that he is going to be president... new phone who dis?
