Kanye West sent Twitter users into a frenzy Wednesday night (Jan. 4) when he spent more than two hours on the social networking platform expressing sentiments about the school system, art and government. He also debuted the name of his new company, DONDA, a design firm named after his late mother, Dr. Donda West.

DONDA will be comprised of 22 divisions with an aim to focus on creating experiences and products affordable to everyone. According to the 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' creator, the company will "marry our wants and needs."

"I am assembling a team of architects, graphic designers, directors musicians, producers, AnRs, writers, publicist, social media experts...app guys, managers, car designers, clothing designers, DJs, video game designers, publishers, tech guys, lawyers, bankers, nutritionist ...doctors, scientist,teachers... [sic]," West wrote.

The 34-year-old rapper-producer revealed that his recent Watch the Throne tour with Jay-Z was an indication of a "DONDA experience." Fans who had a chance to witness the rhymers in action saw large cube fixtures featuring graphics as well as big screens covering various sides of the performance venue. West says he's currently working on a "seven screen experience" for a show that he has not revealed yet.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Steve Jobs, Michael Jackson and Alexander McQueen, the Chicago native even has hopes to design the MTV Awards in the future. After announcing his plans to form DONDA, he also disclosed that he and director Spike Jonze have an interest in developing a summer school that "tries new forms of [curriculum]."
