It's actually rather bizarre and hard to believe that Kanye West's upcoming album still lacks an official title. Most rap albums have titles before a single song is created in order to better market the artist, but Kanye has remained mostly silent on potential names other than a recent suggestion that the LP might be called 'Dark Twisted Fantasy.' Either way, while fans wait, they have a new date. West's new album is now officially slated to hit stores on November 23, which is one week later than expected.

The new date also puts Kanye's fifth album as the biggest release in what's usually the most lucrative week of the year for the recording industry. It's the week of Black Friday, so U.S. consumers will be at retail outlets getting a head start on their holiday shopping the day after Thanksgiving. Interestingly, it's also the same week that Nicki Minaj drops her debut 'Pink Friday' and new records by Ne-Yo, Akon, Lloyd Banks and Flo Rida are set to hit stores.

While it's assumed that most of Ye's recent 'G.O.O.D. Fridays' material will not be on the album, he has distributed 'Power' and 'Runaway' as the record's first two singles. 'Runaway' hits iTunes on October 4, and fans can also look out for West's collaborative album with Jay-Z, 'Watch the Throne,' which should be dropping around the same time.
