Kanye West Blasts Beck Following 2015 Grammy Awards: ‘He Should Have Given His Award to Beyonce’ [VIDEO]

When veteran rocker Beck won the Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards Sunday night (Feb. 8), Beyonce fans were shocked to say the least, Kanye West included.

Following the awards ceremony, the rapper shared his very candid thoughts with E! News about why Beyonce's self-titled album should have won the coveted trophy.

"The Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back they need to stop playing with us," the Chicago native said. "We ain't finna play with them no more. 'Flawless,' Beyonce video. And Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyonce. And at this point, we tired of it."

The rant comes after the G.O.O.D. Music chief approached the Grammys stage after Beck was handed his trophy for Album of the Year. Since 'Ye appeared to be all smiles and quickly exited the stage, it was taken as a joke. But after the MC shared these words, it's apparent this is no laughing matter to Yeezy. He also claims the award show is showing indifference towards real art.

"When you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in their face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you're disrespectful to inspiration," he stated.

His wife Kim Kardashian never took her eyes off her husband during his rant, while E! News hosts Terrence Jenkins and Christina Milian listened intently. Kanye even blasted the producers of the show for interrupting people's acceptance speeches.

"Then they do this whole promotional event, they'll run the music over somebody's speech, the artist, because they want commercial advertising. Like, no, we not playing with them no more," the 'Yeezus' creator continued.

Beck offered his own opinions on West's antics. "I was just so excited [West] was coming up," the artist told Us Weekly. "He deserves to be on stage as much as anybody. How many great records has he put out in the last five years right? You can't please everybody, man. I still love [West] and think he's genius. I aspire to do what he does."

So should Beyonce have won his award instead? "Absolutely. I thought she was going to win. Come on, she's Beyonce!" Beck admitted.
