Kanye West just beat one of Michael Jackson's Billboard records by having 40 songs reach the Top 40 chart. Michael Jackson, along with Frankie Valli, have 39 each.

'Ye gained the feat from his guest feature on ScHoolboy Q's "That Part" which moved from the No. 42 spot to No. 40 this week.

It's no secret that Kanye West idolizes the late great artist. He's mentioned him in countless songs (remember "Celebrity Overnight"?) and even compared himself to the King of Pop in "I Am a God." Now, it seems that 'Ye has one more thing to check off of his bucket list in regards to the late pop star. However, he's got a long way to go before he makes it to the top since he's still in 10th place. Elvis Presley holds the top spot for male artists to make it to the Top 40 with a whopping 80 songs.

Ye also joins the ranks of three other rappers who have already completed the feat -- Lil Wayne with 69 records, Drake with 53 and Jay Z with 45.

As for Q, this is his second song to break the Top 40 chart after the BJ the Chicago Kid-featured track “Studio” from 2014.

No word yet from 'Ye on his new accomplishment but the rhymer's been relatively active on Twitter lately so it's likely only a matter of time before we hear his thoughts on it.
