Kanye West Avoids Charges for Airport Incident

According to Los Angeles prosecutors, Kanye West will not face felony charges for smashing a paparazzo's camera at LAX airport earlier this month. The producer/rapper created a buzz when he was arrested at the American Airlines terminal of the Los Angeles International airport on September 11 for allegedly attacking a pap and damaging the photogs' camera. The Los Angeles city attorney's office are still deciding whether they'll file a lesser charge against West.

In other West news, the rapper will release his fourth studio album, '808s & Heartbreak,' in November. West has also teamed with Comedy Central and comedian/TV host Jimmy Kimmel for a project that's being described as "hip-hop meets the Muppets." Kanye, along with Kimmel's Jackhole production company, has already filmed the pilot for the sketch comedy show, which is tentatively titled 'Alligator Boots.'
