Kanye West and Manager Exempt of Criminal Charges

The criminal assault charges filed against rapper Kanye West and his manager, Don “C” Crawley were officially dismissed today, according to TMZ.

The rapper appeared in an L.A court earlier today, presenting the judge with evidence that he and Crowley had performed their required community service with Red Cross, after which they were declared free to go.

Kanye was initially charged with vandalism, grand theft, and battery, after getting into a physical altercation with a paparazzo at L.A.X. airport on Sept. 11, 2008. The photographer continued to take pictures of the rapper, after Kanye confronted him, requesting that he refrain. Don C. then grabbed the paparazzo’s camera, smashing it on the floor.

Video footage of the incident can be seen here.
