Kanye West to Perform at 2013 MTV VMAs

Kanye West is set perform at the 2013 MTV VMAs which, for the first time, take place at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Aug. 25. And how did MTV break this G.O.O.D. news? By posting an Instagram of croissants sat next to a copy of 'Yeezus' and KAWS' redesigned Moonman, of course.

Kanye will perform the lead single from his new album, 'Black Skinhead,' and possibly another song, according to Complex. The performance will mark the G.O.O.D. Music mogul's first appearance at the VMAs since 2011's 'Otis' set with Jay Z, and his seventh in total, which puts him on par with Madonna.

From his breathtaking set at the 2010 VMAs to infamously ruining Taylor Swift's acceptance speech a year prior, it seems like every awards show with Kanye West is one to remember. What memories will 2013 bring?
