Juvenile Arrest Warrant: Is Rapper Behind on Child Support?
“This is a bunch of bulls—,” Juve told TMZ.com, mere hours after he’d officially become a wanted man in his home state. According to court documents, the New Orleans rhymer owes more than $160,000 in child support and has not paid Dionne Williams, the mother of his 13-year-old son, a single red cent since December 2006.
“I was never informed that there was a warrant out for my arrest,” he told the gossip site.
“My son stays with me most of the time,” he added. “I take care of my son … I love my son.”
Born Terius Gray, the ‘Slow Motion’ MC can avoid jail time by coughing up $50,000 right away, TMZ reports, and arranging to pay the remainder over time. Whether he’ll seek such an arrangement remains to be seen, but in the meantime, Juvenile seems intent on staying out of prison.
“Now that I know, my lawyer is on it,” he said. “I’m going to handle it.”
