Justin Timberlake Dethrones Drake at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 Chart With ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’

Justin Timberlake is back at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. His new single, "Can't Stop the Feeling," premiered atop tally this week after having sold 379,000 downloads in its first week of release, according to Nielsen Music.

Timberlake dethroned Drake's reign at the top for one week with his dancehall-inspired jam, "One Dance" (featuring WizKid and Kyla).

This is Timberlake's highest weekly sales total for a song to date, topping the 315,000 units he sold in the first week for "Suit & Tie," featuring Jay Z, in 2013. Timberlake also lands the best weekly sales for any song this year, besting Adele's "Hello" that sold 480,000 copies in November 2015.

JT wrote and produced "Feeling" with pop titans Max Martin and Shellback. This chart-topping song is the fifth solo Hot 100 No. 1 for Timberlake. His previous four include "SexyBack" in 2006, "My Love" (featuring T.I.) in 2006 and "What Goes Around...Comes Around" in 2007, all from his album, FutureSex/LoveSounds.
The 35-year-old singer's "Give It to Me" by Timbaland featuring Nelly Furtado also went to No 1 in 2007.
