After channeling his inner sexy alongside R. Kelly in last week's 'PYD,' Justin Bieber continues Music Mondays with 'Roller Coaster.' The new song is arguably the most left field of the series, taking its influence from '70s grooves instead of its usual R&B aesthetic.

'Roller Coaster' isn't bringing disco back (not even Bieber is that powerful), but it does make good use of a few of its hallmarks. There's the rubbery bassline made for the dance floor and the emotional lyrics that are thinly veiled by upbeat surroundings. "It's been difficult / I’m just happy there's no fights no more," Bieber sings. "But it’s nights like this that I never ever missed you more." 'Roller Coaster' sounds different, but Bieber is still in his feelings after the sexual comedown from last week.

'Roller Coaster' is another example of what makes the Music Monday series a good listen on Monday mornings.  After starting out with some slow R&B, Bieber has sampled Craig David for arguably one of the best songs of his catalog with 'Recovery,' ironically samples Ice Cube's 'It Was a Good Day' on 'Bad Day' and drops the wounded heart act for some bedroom business on 'PYD'.

There are two more tracks to go in the singer's Music Monday series.
