‘Juice’ Actor Jermaine Hopkins Arrested for Drug Possession–Again

Jermaine Hopkins, the actor best known for roles in the hit films Lean On Me and Juice, has been arrested. According to TMZ, Hopkins attempted to speed past police with pounds of marijuana in the trunk of his car.

Law enforcement sources confirmed that police in Apex, NC saw Hopkins reportedly driving 70 in a 55 last week. Upon pulling him over, they discovered 5.7 lbs of marijuana in his trunk. Hopkins was arrested for felony drug possession with intent to sell and hit with a speeding ticket.

He was subsequently released on $3,000 bond.

Hopkins was previously busted back in 2011 and sentenced to three years probation for buying 200 pounds of marijuana from what turned out to be an undercover cop.
