Earlier this year, Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo broke up after several years of courtship. Not much known why the two went their separate ways, but the R&B songbird addresses the split with her remix of Drake's ballad, 'How About Now.'

Presented by the L.A. Leakers, Sparks' version is a scornful jab at her ex-boyfriend who she suggests might have been too much of mama's boy for her.

"Always been mommy’s little angel / Then, once you blew up, head got big and you started changing / Can’t believe all the things that you started saying / Like I’m with you for your fame and your name (What?)," she sings.

It's the rare occasion that an artist outshines Drake on his own song, but we think Sparks did that with her remix.

The song appears on Sparks' just-released mixtape with the cliche title 'Bye, Felica.' The collection features new music from the R&B singer including the DJ Mustard-produced 'It Ain't You.' You can listen to her mixtape here.
