Jordan Peele’s new film Get Out grossed over $30 million dollars in its opening weekend, and if the Hollywood suit and ties know what their doing, they’ll throw some more money his way for future projects.

If that happens, then the 38-year-old is already prepared since he has more movie ideas in the works.

“I have four other social thrillers that I want to unveil in the next decade,” said Peele. “The best and scariest monsters in the world are human beings and what we are capable of, especially when we get together.”

Get Out has received wide critical acclaim, and rightly so. A gripping psychological thrilled that explores the complexities of liberal racism, the film is both horrifying, shocking at times and poignant.

“I’ve been working on these premises about these different social demons, these innately human monsters that are woven into the fabric of how we think and how we interact and each one of my movies is going to be about a different one of these social demons,” added the actor and sketch-comedian.

In a separate interview, around the time the film premiered at Sundance, Peele talked about writing the script and how Barack Obama’s presidency influenced his ideas.

“When the movie was beginning to ruminate, we had a black president, and we were living in this post-racial lie,” he said. “This whole idea that we’re past it, we’re past it all … This movie was meant to reveal this monster of racism lurking underneath these seemingly innocent situations and conversations.”
