Joey Bada$$ has teamed up with clothing line Akomplice for a phenomenal project that honors the life of the late hip-hop producer J Dilla. The Pro Era rapper is releasing 'Two Lips,' a benefit track for the J Dilla Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that provides music programs and instruments for underprivileged youth.

The track features an unearthed beat produced by Dilla that was found during the recording sessions of the previously-released album, ’Lost Scrolls, Vol. 1.’

Over a head-nodding drum roll, melodic keyboards and haunting chants, Joey Bada$$ spits rhymes on mortality.

The song is part of Akomplice’s J Dilla Tribute collection, which features a 7-inch of 'Two Lips,' a limited-edition J Dilla sublimation T-shirt and a newspaper featuring interviews with both Dilla’s mom, Ms. Maureen Yancey, and Joey Bada$$ (see photo below).

You can cop the entire collection for $45 on Nov. 29 exclusively at Akomplice.com. All of the proceeds will go to the J Dilla Foundation.

"Working on this project alongside Akomplice and the J Dilla Foundation was a great success," Bada$$ told Rolling Stone. "I thank both parties for allowing me to be a part of it and allowing me to use unreleased beats by my favorite producer of all time. It's a brighter day."
