Joey Badass Links With DOOM for ‘Amethyst Rockstar’

DOOM has been an enigmatic yet influential cult figure in the hip-hop community for years now, but he has catapulted to a legendary prominence thanks to the efforts of Joey Bada$$ and his Pro Era crew.

As the Brooklyn teenager has climbed the ranks, he has shown an affinity for DOOM's music over and over again. So finally, with his Summer Knights project on the horizon, he has dropped a new song over an original DOOM beat.

Joey was blessed with a vintage DOOM head-nodder for "Amethyst Rockstar," and he brings fellow Pro Era member Kirk Knight with him as the two drop gems. Summer Knights is scheduled to drop Jul. 1.
