Joey Bada$$ is firing back at Troy Ave on Sway in the Morning.

Bada$$ spit venomous rhymes aimed for Ave in a "Five Fingers Of Death" freestyle. Beef between the two rappers started when Ave called Bada$$ a "filthy backpack rapper" and dissed late Pro Era member, Capital STEEZ, who committed suicide last year. Initially all was relatively quiet from the Bada$$ camp, but that's all changed now.

"He took a leap of faith and only brightened his light / You took a cheap shot of hate and only shortened your life / The difference between you and him is that he lives forever / You'll be the first to die that nobody ever remembers / Because the city never need you ever / You committed career suicide and made New York better," rhymed Bada$$.

Ave was quick to get on Instagram to offer a rebuttal -- but his page is on private now, making it hard for anyone but his followers to see it.

"A GUN IN YA (Drug Addict) FACE AND THATS ALL YOU CAN COME UP WITH," read the caption. "Backpack rapper I'm not gonna say ya $hit was garbage cause that would imply that I'm being malicious. So Ima tell u YOUR MUSIC IS NOT APPEALING OR A REFLECTION OF ANYTHING THAT REPRESENTS THE REAL NEW YORK CITY, the $treets don't fuk wit u, maybe DUNBO, yea use a DUNBO, SOHO, 42nd Street Times Square Village People rapper."
