Fresh off dropping a pretty well-received album in Rage & the Machine, Joe Budden just released the video for the seventh track, "I Gotta Ask" and starts it off with some concert footage.

"The only reason I'm able to be as bold and as defiant, I guess what I'm trying to say is, the only reason I'm able to be is because ya'll allow me to be," he says at the start of the clip.

From there, the podcast host allows the camera to follow him around various parts of his home state of New Jersey, including Hoboken, which beautifully overlooks the Manhattan skyline. He also heads to a mansion at one point to spit bars on a large porch in front of a wide wooden door.

Later on, Fabolous makes an appearance, dressed casually in a red jacket and a dad-hat. Then Just Blaze shows up, and there's also a quick shot of Joe's Slaughterhouse family Joel Ortiz in the clip.

Depending on how you look at it, the video could be taken as a day-in-the-life of Budden, as he performs and stunts in different parts of New Jersey, or it could simply be his personal love-letter to the Garden State.

Either way, the visuals are eye-catching, and the song itself is a complete winner. Please check it out below to see if you agree.
