Earlier this year, producer Jim Jonsin revealed that he would be collaborating with T.I. on the Atlanta rapper's forthcoming album 'Uncaged.' After a few sessions, they're getting back in the studio to try again. "[We have] some tracks that might turn into songs but we're kind of just feeling out where he's going in direction," Jonsin told The BoomBox. "I don't think we completely nailed that but the next session I think we will."

Jonsin, who was recently honored at the BMI Pop Awards for his work with T.I. on the single 'Whatever You Like,' said that he spent a week in the studio with the rapper. [Working with big name artists] it's surreal," he said. "You see people on TV and you get a chance to meet them ... its kinda' like [seeing] your teacher out of school. Working with them is a great experience. Someone like T.I. is inspiring, very upfront with his feeling on music and how he likes it."

Aside from his production credits -- which include Lil Wayne's 'Lollipop,' Beyonce's 'Sweet Dreams,' and Soulja Boy's 'Kiss Me Through the Phone'-- Jonsin is also focusing on his label imprint, Rebel Rock Entertainment. In connection with T.I.'s Grand Hustle label, Jonsin signed Atlanta rapper B.o.B. whose debut album 'B.O.B. Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray,' topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts selling 84,000 copies in its first week. T.I.'s 'Uncaged' is slated for an Aug. 18 release.
