ONE Musicfest 2017 took place over the weekend, drawing a large crowd to Atlanta's Lakewood Amphitheater and The Tabernacle respectively, who came to see energetic performances from Yasiin Bey, Jill Scott, Migos, Tank & The Bangas, Ro James, Jidenna, Kaytranda and more.

On Friday, Dreamville artist, J.I.D.  kicked the festival off properly at The Tabernacle, pulling from his acclaimed debut project, The Never Story. Singer Ari Lennox, who is also signed to Dreamville, had an impressive showing, delivering songs from her standout 2016 EP, PHO.

The following day at Lakewood Amphitheater, New Orleans' genre-bending group, Tank & The Bangas showcased why they're one of music's hottest rising acts with the a momentous performance that delivered on the high-praise they routinely receive for their live shows. Later that evening, Yasiin Bey offered an eclectic farewell performance, honing in on the tastes of his diehard fanbase, complete with flower petals on the stage as he weaved in spirituality with his music. Jill Scott had a polished, entertaining showing as expected, diving into crowd favorites including "Long Walk," "Whatever," "Is It The Way" and "Crown Royal" among others. Sensual and sweet, Jill kept the crowd engaged and rocking throughout her entire closing, headlining set.

But perhaps the most notable performance of the festival was Damian Marley, who was dripping with energy and charisma as he connected with the crowd, who stayed hype throughout his entire set, chanting along with him through favorites like "Welcome to Jamrock" and "Move!" Fresh off the release of his first album in 12 years, Stony Hill, which dropped in July, Damian was the clear highlight of the day.
