Jhene Aiko Scores Hit EP with ‘Sail Out’

Jhene Aiko has a lot to celebrate today. The sales numbers are in and the singer's 'Sail Out' is officially a hit.

The new EP, which features songs like 'Bed Peace' and 'Comfort Inn Ending,' debuts at No. 1 on the R&B charts. It also snagged the No. 8 spot on the Billboard Hot 200 Albums chart. This makes the EP Def Jam Records' biggest-ever EP debut. “The first time I heard Jhené’s voice,” said her producer No I.D., “I knew that we were looking at an exceptional artist. The immediate success of 'Sail Out' confirms our belief in Jhené as the flagship artist of ARTium/Def Jam.”
