Jhene Aiko let it be known that she's not about the fur life with her recent involvement in a PETA campaign.

The singer bares it all for the cause, wearing nothing but a towel for the organization's "Drop the Fur" campaign. She also received PETA's "Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity Award" for 2016. Aiko says in the clip above that she's vegan before talking about how terrible animals are treated in the human quest to rock fur coats.

While Aiko doesn't get into how she became a vegan in the PETA clip, in an interview with VICE Autobiographies, she share that she once got a job in a vegan cafe to survive, so maybe the idea was born from that experience?

“I remember one day I was just like ‘I can’t go back to the restaurant,'” she recalled in the VICE episode. “‘I’m going to focus on this mixtape and see what happens from there,’ so it was like a leap of faith.”

In music news, the singer is schedule to drop new music in 2017, both with Big Sean and their group Twenty88 as well as another solo project, a follow-up to her 2014 release, Souled Out.
