Last we heard from Jhene Aiko, she was readying a prequel EP to her 'Souled Out' album called 'Sail Out,' which will co-star Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Wiz Khalifa and more. But as a precursor to that, the L.A. songbird picks up where her 'Comfort Inn Ending (Freestyle)' left off to pour out more pain from heartbreak.

Over an extended version of No I.D.'s solemn beat, which closes with a stirring acoustic sequence, Ms. Aiko continues her striking narrative about a broken relationship. Including incredibly specific details and even first names, you get the sense Jhene wasn't just drawing inspiration from observation with this song.
