Jhene Aiko ‘3:16AM’ Video: Singer Delivers Emotionally-Driven Visuals
While crafting her debut album, the singer was struck with devastating news last month when she learned her 26-year-old brother Miyagi died from cancer. Aiko, 24, dealt with the loss the only way she knew how: by penning a touching tribute titled “For My Brother,” which showcased why she was signed to one of the premiere labels in the industry. On the heels of that song comes the emotionally-driven visuals for another, “3:16AM.”
“Out of place, out of space and time/ Wide awake, out of papers/ I am not OK/ I am out my mind/ Outerspace, that’s where I’ve been going,” she coos on the Fisticuffs Music-produced effort.
