After conquering television, film and music, what's next for Jennifer Lopez? How about author? The R&B and pop superstar is set to release her first memoir titled 'First Love.'

According to Billboard, the hardcover edition of the tome will hit bookstores via Penguin Group’s Celebra imprint on Oct. 28 in both English and Spanish.

'True Love' is being described as a diary of Lopez's transformative two-year journey as artist and mother. The 'First Love' singer will divulge on how she overcame some challenges and her biggest fears to become the person she is today.

The book will also include previously unreleased photographs and personal words of reflection from J.Lo, herself.

“Writing 'True Love' has been a deeply cathartic, personal and vulnerable experience," said Lopez in a press release. "If it were not for the love and courage given to me by my children, this story wouldn’t have been possible. While I struggled with the decision of whether or not to release this book, I recognized that if it could touch even just one person then it would honestly become one of the most fulfilling endeavors of my life."

A piece of the book's sale will go to the Lopez Family Foundation, which is devoted to helping women and children improve their health and well-being.

Lopez, who was honored with the Icon Award at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, is set to drop her eighth album, 'A.K.A.,' on June 17.

"Music has always been my first love,” she said. “I thank God, and my fans, and my friends, and my family that I’ve been able to do this over the years with 10 albums."
