Jennifer Hudson Releases Anthemic Love Song ‘Dangerous’
Jennifer Hudson is a ride-or-die chick on her latest single, ‘Dangerous.’ It’s a groovy anthem that finds the Oscar-winning songbird making a firm statement: when it comes to her man, she’ll do anything for love.
The song has a disco-feel to it. In fact, it’s the perfect song to do the two-step to at a swanky party. On it, Hudson describes herself as Bonnie to her man’s Clyde. The loving is so strong, it’s almost criminal.
“Think we’re running from the cops now / Even if we get caught now / Anything for you / Hold my body up for ransom / Because I want to get my hands on you,” she sings.
On the chorus, J.Hud adds, “I do it for the thrill, even if it kills / Dangerous, you make me feel dangerous.”
In other news, Hudson is slated to perform on the CBS special ‘Fashion Rocks‘ on Sept. 9.
Jennifer Hudson’s new album, ‘JHUD,’ will hit stores on Sept. 23. You can pre-order the effort via iTunes.
