Jay-Z covers the May issue of Delta's SKY magazine, and in a revealing interview, the hip-hop mogul shares some details on his upcoming album, 'Watch the Throne,' with Kanye West as well as addresses those ever-present Illuminati rumors.

Since the release of 'Watch the Throne's' first single 'H.A.M.' in January, details on the album have been scarce, but according to Hov, Kanye West is the reason for the delay. "Ye is just in an extraordinary creative place -- so much so that I need to get him to focus so we can finish this," Jay told SKY. "But music is his refuge right now."

On the same train of thought, he also explained that skyrocketing success has made it more difficult to find time to create music. "Success takes you away from the music. Before success, there weren't interviews or photo shoots, it was just everyday studio," he said. "Now it's a big thing to get in the studio. It's like a process just to get there. And once I'm there, I have to dial into an emotion."

With the release of his 'Blueprint 3' album in late 2009, rumors began to circulate that the Brooklyn-born rapper was involved in the Illuminati secret society. But Jay-Z's response proves he's not connected with the underground society that so often times is mentioned in his rhymes.

"I may sound a little arrogant but I just think people can't handle when somebody is successful," he revealed. "Something has gotta be wrong; you gotta be down with some higher power. And I guess when someone else is successful; it makes you feel like maybe you're a failure. So it can't be you, it has to be some other force."
