According to MTV News, Jay-Z plans to drop the video for the Swizz Beatz-produced 'On to the Next One' on New Year's Eve. The video, Hova's fifth from the blockbuster 'Blueprint 3,' will get the rapper's usual primetime treatment with its first showing on NBC during the network's 'NBC's New Year's Eve With Carson Daly.'

'On to the Next One' remains the most club-ready jam on 'Blueprint 3' and could soon be flooding airwaves and dance floors in a similar fashion to other singles such as 'Empire State of Mind,' 'Run This Town' and 'D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune).' Last week, Jay released a video for the power prom anthem 'Young Forever,' but Atlantic Records claims that it was serviced for overseas use only.

In addition to the premiere, Jay-Z has also pre-taped a performance to air during Daly's New Year's Eve program. Hov will apparently join Rihanna onstage for special versions of Ri's 'Umbrella' and the aforementioned 'Run This Town.' Like most home-ridden celebrators, Daly is pretty pumped to air such an impressive lineup.

"The real star of any New Year's Eve show is New York City, and Jay-Z is New York," said Daly in a statement to the media. "Green Day and Rihanna were already an impressive lineup, and now, with the addition of Jay-Z, it's our most exciting lineup yet."
