As promised, Jay Z and Kanye West (aka The Throne) performed at the 2014 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas, Wednesday night (March 12). The duo rekindled the performances from their Watch the Throne tour days as they entertained nearly 5,000 attendees at the Austin Music Hall.

During the two-hour-plus show, Hov and Yeezy performed solo sets first before they came together to rap hits from their celebrated album 'Watch the Throne.'

West performed tracks from his platinum-selling LP 'Yeezus' including 'New Slaves' and 'Black Skinhead,' while Jay rapped hits from his last album, 'Magna Carta Holy Grail.'

Once the duo hit the stage together for a collaborative set, the Throne ran through a slew of chart-topping hits between them. According to Billboard, they performed the 'Good Life,' 'Izzo (H.O.V.A.)' and 'Empire State Mind' before diving into 'WTT' tracks like 'Otis' and of course, their ubiquitous anthem 'N----s in Paris,' which they performed repeatedly.

Overall, Jay and West haven’t missed a beat since releasing 'WTT' and their onstage camaraderie was infectious.

Hopefully, this performance will prompt the hip-hop kings to hit the studio again to record a sequel to 'Watch the Throne.'
