When it comes to hip-hop, Jay-Z and Eminem are on top of the game, so it only makes since that they take their act to the top of New York City's Ed Sullivan Theater for a performance later today (June 22). Amid rumors that Jay and Em's performance for the David Letterman Show was canceled, it looks like the show will in fact go on. Monday afternoon photogs snapped shots of Jay and Em rehearsing as well as a crew setting up for the performance. According to reports, no one can see or hear anything from the street but some lucky fans may get that chance to come up for the performance.

As previously reported, city officials canceled the show due to crowd control fears after the chaotic canceled Drake show at New York's South Street Seaport. There is no word yet on just how many people will make their way over to the theater to see the superstars. Em is currently on a promotional push for his latest release 'Recovery,' which hits stores today. The performance will air tonight on CBS at 11:30PM EST.
