It was a very happy holiday for Jay Z. The rapper's collection with Barneys New York has reportedly raked in over $1 million in profits.

The New York Daily News reports that sales figures are still being tallied but profits have exceeded $1 million. The collection was initially received with controversy after several black shoppers claimed they were racially-profiled while shopping at the luxury retailer.

Hov responded to the allegations and stated that he would continue with the collection but increased Barneys' charitable contribution to his Shawn Carter Foundation substantially to 100 percent.

"The collaboration with Barneys has always been about giving and The Shawn Carter Foundation," he wrote on his Life + Times website. "From this collection, the Foundation will receive not only 25 percent of sales, it will now receive the additional 75 percent of Barneys’ sales, totalling 100 percent of all sales from BNY SCC. Along with 100 percent of sales from the collaboration, the Foundation will receive an additional 10 percent of all retail sales."

The collection consisted of several high-end items. Beyonce rocked several pieces including a Moncler Puffer Varsity Jacket ($2,295), cashmere ski mask ($695) and a gold Hoorsenbuhs ring that retails for $12,500.
