The streets of Watts, Calif., serve as the backdrop for Jay Rock's new video for 'Parental Advisory.'

The TDE rapper gives fans a close and personal look at where the he comes from in the clip. Many of the shots show Jay performing in the front yard of a residential home with his boys in the background pumping weights. Quite noticeably, the MC has put on a little bulk in recent months, which only enhances his tough-guy persona.

Lyrically, the 28-year-old paints a very accurate picture of the harsh L.A. streets.

"We outchea everyday, racked up, strapped up / Call for your backup 'fore we get active / Shots lit off, cars sped off, pistol grip, pump in the trunk, knock your head off / Youngins out late night, smokers in the alleyway / Streets ain't fair so watch for the foul play," he spits.

The visual also moves back and forth from color to black-and-white, which also adds a nice contrast.

No word yet on when Jay's new album will drop, but based on material like this, it sounds promising.
