Jay Electronica Shines Light on Equality, Gun Violence in Twitter Rant

Jay Electronica is known to speak his piece on everything from industry gripes to political issues. The Roc Nation rapper is apparently fed up with police brutality and gun violence in the wake of the Mike Brown and Eric Garner grand jury decisions. So he took to Twitter to question how guns are getting into the African-American community and the role blacks play on weapon distribution in America.

According to Jay, he's sick of all the "peace talk." "Peace ain't gonna fall outta the sky," he writes. The rhymer even shares his thoughts on equal rights. "why would you expect freedom justice and equality from ppl who still teach that Benjamin Franklin discovers electricity in 2014," he continues.
