The rap unicorn Jay Electronica recently hosted a Periscope session for his fans and shared his opinions on Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent, among others.

During his 16-minute video chat, which was edited for brevity by Montreality, the “Exhibit C” rapper throw some shade at K.Dot. Although he acknowledged that he was a good rapper, Jay Elect criticized his lyrical abilities. "Look, I like the one Kendrick song with Gunplay, “Cartoons and Cereal,” but other than that we don’t know what n---- talking about," he said. "We don't know what these lames are talking about." However, later on, he did tell his fans not to diss Kendrick. "Don’t say f--- Kendrick, that’s still our brother,” he said. "Kendrick is my son, Kendrick is my baby, Kendrick wishes he could be me."

Uh, what?

However, he did acknowledged that his favorite rapper from Top Dawg Entertainment is Ab Soul and his favorite song from the label is "Book of Soul" and "Cartoons and Cereal" -- for Gunplay's verse only.

Later on, the "Eternal Sunshine" rhymer threatened 50 Cent bodily harm after he was asked if the G-Unit leader is still a good rapper. "50 Cent at once, he was a good rapper," he stated. "Right now he got the potential to be a rapper but he’s on some sucker s---...and we will slap 50 Cent’s eyeballs loose out his scalp."

On the flipside, Jay Elect did give props to Freddie Gibbs, Drake, Lupe Fiasco and J. Cole because they are lyricists.

We must also mentioned that he threw Action Bronson under the bus for being a Ghostface Killah impersonator but he does like his persona as a rapper.

All of this interesting commentary coming from a guy who still hasn't dropped his debut album, which Jay Elect says is still coming.

But let's be clear, Jay Electronica's stingy critiques will no doubt start trending on social media and could ignite a rap feud. And of course, 50 Cent is the king of obliterating rappers on Instagram -- just ask Meek Mill.

This is going to get interesting folks.
