It was a big comeback year for Janet Jackson who released 'Unbreakable,' her first album in seven years. And fans apparently love the LP as it won Best R&B Album in the 2015 The Boombox Fan Choice Awards.

Between the melodic title song dedicated to her fans, the anthem for lovers, "No Sleeep" (featuring J. Cole) and the club banger "BURNITUP!" (featuring Missy Elliott), it's no wonder the Rhythm Nation leader gained 42 percent of the vote from The BoomBox readers.

Ciara wasn't too far behind with 41 percent of the vote going to Jackie. Tyrese's Black Rose followed in third place with seven percent of the votes, while Tamar Braxton's Calling All Lovers nabbed four percent.

Take a look at the percentage breakdown in the Best R&B Album category below to see how Janet Jackson secured the top spot among the rest.
