Janet Jackson’s comeback is in full swing. The R&B icon revealed her new look in a video that aired on ABC’s Good Morning America on Thursday (Aug. 20). Jackson also teased a new single on her Instagram account.

In the clip, Jackson takes viewers behind the scenes of her photo shoot for her highly-anticipated album. The 49-year-old singer looks gorgeous as ever, wearing ripped jeans, a white dress shirt, open-toe black boots, loads of jewelry and super-long curly locks.

Jackson's wardrobe designer, Kim Bowen, says she's planning “a whole conglomeration of different looks” for the singer, including rock ‘n’ roll, ethnic, sexy, funky, punk-y, tribal and organic.

In addition to the new look, Jackson also teased what could be her next single. She shared a lyric sheet of the new song called "The Great Forever" on Instagram (see photo below) and a link to the track.

The tune, co-written by her longtime collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, is smoothed out on the urban contemporary tip with the empowering lyrics, "Living the want the way that I hope is leading me to The Great Forever." The song feels very grown-up and possibly aimed at her adult fans who grew up listening to Janet.

There's no official word on when the single will drop, however, judging by the lyric sheet, it seems that her album is called Unbreakable.

This would make sense because that's the same name of Jackson's major world tour, which kicks off Aug. 31 in Vancouver. A second North American leg was recently announced and that begins on Jan. 12 in Portland, Ore., and wraps up March 9 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
