Janet Jackson Announces Unbreakable World Tour Dates

Janet Jackson isn't ready to call it quits. That's right, the iconic singer is spreading her wings once again and will hop back into performance mode with her Unbreakable World Tour starting Aug. 31.

Earlier today (June 15), Janet announced the big news on her Instagram account. Her Unbreakable World Tour will kick off first in North America. Vancouver, B.C. will have the first opportunity to see her in action, then she'll wrap up the performance trek in Honolulu.

Fans can log on to JanetJackson.com to purchase tickets on June 22. American Express Card members can do their due diligence and purchase their tickets today (June 15) through Friday (June 19).

Last month, Janet revealed that she also had a new album on the way, in addition to her tour. Her new album will be the first release since her 2008 LP, Discipline. As far as touring is concerned, the last time she touched the stage with regularity was during her Rock Witchu Tour the same year. The album will be released through her newly launched label, Rhythm Nation Records.
