Janet Jackson to Kick Off Tour in September

R&B and pop diva Janet Jackson will hit the road for the first time in seven years when she launches her 'Rock Witchu' tour in support of her latest release, 'Discipline.' The outing kicks off in Vancouver on September 10 before heading to arenas across the country.

Jackson, known for her amazing choreography and elaborate set designs, is all set to give fans what they already expect ... with a twist. "It will definitely be a big production but it will definitely also be something that I've never done before, that people have never seen from me before," she said.

The singer also plans on taking the show worldwide. "It's been a while so I really want to make my rounds," she said. "I haven't been to Australia in a very long time; I can't wait to go there. There are a lot of places where I really want to stop off at, and that's the idea, that's the goal with this tour."
