Janet Jackson 2009 AMA Performance

The Jacksons dominated last night’s American Music Awards. Janet Jackson, who just released her second greatest hits compilation ‘Number Ones’ on Nov. 17, opened the show with a medley of her hits including ‘Control,’ ‘If’ and a previously unreleased track ‘Make Me.’

The Jacksons continued to have a big presence at the show when Michael Jackson won four posthumous awards. Jermaine accepted all of Michael’s televised wins. The late King of Pop won for Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist and Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist. His greatest hits album ‘Numbers Ones’ snagged Favorite Pop/Rock Album Favorite Soul/R&B Album.
